Innovative Architecture Project: Glasgow’s Riverside Museum of Transport

The Riverside Museum of Transpor t is one of Glasgow’s most recent modern cultural buildings, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and officially opened on June 21, 2011. The museum is said to host various exhibits and displays of transport relics, engineering and shipbuilding items, some of them strongly connected with the industrial achievements of the city: “‘ Glasgowâs history as an industrial giant, a global leader in engineering and shipbuilding, is celebrated in an architectural masterpiece which shows that we remain at the cutting edge of design and technology. on the same spot where ships and paddle steamers were built, the launch of the riverside museum is an occasion which both Glasgow and Scotland can be proud of.
