Provocative Architecture Using Concrete, Stone and Wood: House E

House E was built on a provocative terrain parcel that challenged the architects into creating a unique residence: “ Set in a traditional and exclusive subdivision in the city of Guadalajara, the home is able to conquer a fairly complex site and shot gun as a whole facade is built with houses next to it forming a new language with its environment. In plan the building is released three edges leading to the outside plant dynamic enough for a regular triangular site .”Inside, a sculptural staircase leads to the upper floor and creates a contemporary double-height space filled with light. Made from wood and adorned with glass, the staircase thrones in the middle of the large entry. The combination of white concrete, stone and wood make the design of this house stand out in a sober and elegant way. A semi-outdoor patio covered with lattice wood offers moments in the sun for the family and friends. Located in Puerta de Hierro, Mexico, the residence was designed by Agraz Arquitectos . Take a look at the photos and let us know what you would add to this house to make it a dream home.
