A Playful Design: KUB+ Coffee Table by Fabio Teixeira

Fabio Teixeira is a young designer form Brazil who recently sent us a fun table design concept which we would like to share with you guys. According to the designer, “ KUB+ Coffee table for small living rooms aims to bring functionality to living rooms with limited space, serving as a ludic and customizable furniture, allowing users to interact with the colored mobile pieces in addition to following the trend of assembling do-it-yourself and taking inspiration from the famous toy Rubik’s Cube. The project uses no glue and the pieces are put together through wood dowel pins, resulting in a furniture with 526x526x520mm dimensions. The materials used are sheets of plywood and the finish is made with lacquer ink .” We don’t know about you, but we would like to see this idea produced and available for purchase.
