Emotional Art Project Drawing Attention to One’s Life Objectives

Before I Die …in Nola is an interesting project belonging to public installation artist and urban planner Candy Chang . The artist managed to turn one of the walls of an abandoned house in New Orleans into a massive chalkboard where the residents can write their life-long dreams. This is also a call to action, as the first one has to do when chasing a dream is to identify it. Here is more from the project developer: “I t’s about turning a neglected space into a constructive one where we can learn the hopes and aspirations of the people around us. It turns out this entire process has been a great lesson, experience, and project in itself – more on that later. The responses and stories from passers-by while we were installing it have already hit me hard in the heart. ”
