Cute and Comfortable Home by Ong & Ong Architects

Ong & Ong Architects have created a cute and comfortable interior design in this residential building. Moderately large windows allow sunlight to flow and invade the classy, yet colourful interiors. Although the space seems to be a bit tight, the architects tried to use natural colours to improve the quality of living by opening up the interiors. The three-storey house features an attic converted into a guest bedroom, with a raised bed that takes advantage of the frisk air and refreshing view that can also be enjoyed from the balcony. Some other features of the home are described by Ong & Ong Architects: “ The living area maximizes the light thru the full height glass windows and doors creating a light-feel space. This concept flows to the dining and kitchen area. A large island unit was designed to double up as a dining table while the built-in cabinetry provides plenty of storage, helping to eliminate clutter. The master bedroom sits quietly on the second storey. The master bathroom uses bold colours and materials to complement the cosy and warm feel of the bedroom. Rich colours fill the atmosphere on the third storey where the children room is located. Clever use of wallpaper and carpets with sharp colours brighten up the room.
