Liverpool Design Symposium 2009
In it’s 2009 – second year, the Liverpool Design Symposium included a massive headliner in the form of Michael Wolff, thanks to the D&AD President’s Lectures. Co-founder of Wolff Olins, he is a big name in the world of branding and is a member of a long list of design organisations and committees. Other lecturers and speakers include Peter Mills from The Team, Ian Thompson CD of Thompson Brand Partners, Andy Chambers Director of Digit and Deborah Dawton from the Design Business Association.
2008 saw the beginning of the Symposium with over 500 creative professionals and students attending the one day event. Last year’s headliners included Matt Pyke founder of Universal Everything, Bruno Maag type-genius from Dalton Maag and the British educational charity D&AD.
Liverpool Design Symposium was conceived and developed by Liverpool design studios Uniform, Smiling Wolf and Black and Ginger.
The D&AD President’s Lectures are available to view online and via iTunes. There are talks from over 2 years ago so it’s definitely worth having a look at.
